The terms for using the Tonari apps and this site. Effective: September 27, 2026
Purpose
Tonari (the “Product”) is a tool for showing your Mac’s screen on an iPhone on the same network and using the iPhone as another display for your Mac.
Supported environments
The Mac app is intended for macOS 26 or later. The iPhone app is intended for iOS 26 or later and is being prepared for release. To use the Product, your Mac and iPhone must be on the same network (such as Wi-Fi or iPhone Personal Hotspot), and you must allow Screen Recording and Local Network access on your Mac.
Nature of the display
Video delay, quality, and smoothness vary with network conditions and the load on your Mac. We don’t guarantee that the display will be free of delays or interruptions. Don’t use the Product for purposes where display delays could cause problems.
The Product uses features of macOS that are not publicly documented to create a virtual display. Updates to macOS or iOS may make the Product unusable, temporarily or permanently.
Third-party services and trademarks
The Product is not an official product of Apple or Cloudflare and does not indicate any affiliation with or endorsement by them. Mac, macOS, iPhone, and iOS are trademarks of Apple Inc. All other names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. The Product uses Sparkle (MIT License) for updates. You can view the license texts under Licenses in Settings in the app.
Prohibited uses
You may not redistribute the distributed files without permission, alter their signatures, circumvent security mechanisms, display another person’s screen without their consent, or use the Product in a way that violates laws or the rights of third parties.
Warranty and liability
We don’t guarantee that the Product will keep working, that it will work on any particular Mac, iPhone, macOS, or iOS, or that it will be compatible with future versions. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of, or the inability to use, the Product.
Changes to these terms and governing law
We may revise these terms in response to changes in features, distribution methods, or laws. We’ll announce important changes on this site. These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. For questions, contact kazuapp1226@gmail.com.
